Hercules 13th Labor

Eurystheus commanded Hercules to build a gigantic boat that he could fit ten giants in every room and there must be ten rooms. Eurystheus also said that the boat must be build within three days.
Hercules asked Vulcan to build him a hammer that had the strength to nail a post to the center of the earth with one hit, and four thousand nails. He visited the tree nymphs asking them to spare on thousand trees for the boards of his boat.
He started building the boat working all day and night for tree days. On the third day the boat was finished but he had to go to the land of giants and somehow get one hundred giants to agree to get on his boat.
He climbed a tall wall and spoke out to the giants saying, “Here me giants. I have come to ask one hundred of you to ride on my boat across the river.” The giants did not car to go with him and refused to be crammed onto a boat to ride across a river.
Hercules could see that the giants wouldn’t come so he fetched Apollo to play a lullaby to the giants. Soon the giants fell fast asleep.
Hercules drug one hundred giants to his ship and distributed ten to each room. Eurystheus could see that Hercules had loaded all the giants for he was spying on him in a bush. So he told Neptune the god of the sea to stir the water and send many sea serpents to ruin Hercules boat so he couldn’t make it over the river.
Hercules set sail and saw many whirl pools ahead of him. He turned the great boat and was able to fight the waters. Then he met up with many serpents that where hitting the boat with all there might, rocking the boat. Hercules jumped into the water and slaughtered all the serpents with the mighty blade of his sword.
He climbed a rope back to his ship and with his strength guided it gracefully to the shore. Then the boat started to shake and quiver. The shaking went to such an extreme that the boat started to crack. The Giants busted through the wood, sending Hercules flying through the air, smashing into a rock, making him loose consciousness.
When Hercules awoke, the giants tied him to the rock with many strong ropes. Hercules couldn’t break through the ropes he was too tired from the blow of the rock. Then he looked over to find a flower growing by the rock. He reached for it and plucked it from the stem. He ate the flower and received his full strength as if by magic.
Hercules broke the ropes and returned to Eurystheus. Eurystheus told Hercules that he had failed because he didn’t bring back the giants to show him.

The Creation of Panda Bears

The gods of earth lived on stars, they were called Star Gods. There was one god over every continent. One day the gods got together, bragging about all the animals that fit into there cultures. Though the Asian star god didn’t have an animal to represent his continents cultures. This made the Asian Star God an outcast of the group.


The Asian star god asked the other gods if he could create an animal for is continent. The other gods disagreed and made a rule to keep the Asian god from creating this animal. The rule stated that in order to create a new living organism on earth, the god must sacrifice their selves and give their star unto the earth.

The other gods went about their daily business thinking that the newly forced rule would keep the Asian god from creating an animal. Then the Asian god called out to the others saying, “I have decided to give my continent a new animal, that shall represent their cultures”. Then the god leaped from his star and fell to the blackness, sending his star plummeting towards the earth. The other gods were furious and their anger created gravity, keeping any other gods from creating new life.

When the star hit the earth it shattered into a million tiny pieces, landing on a very large stalk of bamboo growing from the earth. Then the pieces started devouring the stalk at an incredible speed. Soon the stalk was gone. The pieces started to grow and grow, then when the pieces looked as if they would burst they changed. The transformation brought forth a bear that was black and white the bear was called a panda bear.
